What FALA is
FALA is an editorial project about natural textiles – cotton, linen, weaves, care and origins. We explain the terms you find on labels, check claims about origin and draw how fabrics are actually woven.
The fala.sk domain was once associated with Egyptian fashion. We pick up that theme with our guide Egyptian clothing and textiles – from ancient Egyptian linen to today’s Giza cotton.
FALA is written in Slovak first. This English edition carries the same content, adapted for English-speaking readers.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or recommend specific products.
- We have no advertising and no affiliate links.
- We don’t track visitors – no cookies, no analytics.
Who prepares the content
The content is prepared by FALA, which is responsible for it. Articles are signed by the FALA brand. How we work with sources is described in our Editorial policy.
Looking ahead
FALA may one day offer textiles of its own. If that happens, we will keep it clearly separate from the editorial content and add the rules to our editorial policy.
